As a child growing up, I've always found myself being involved in weddings, from being a mini bride, flower girl, bridesmaid, to my very own. This passion for wedding planning, started while watching the movie "The Wedding Planner". During this period, I was pursuing my Bachelor's Degree in Guidance & Counselling. Shortly after, I gained a position with Sandals Resorts International as Junior Wedding Planner; a year later, I was promoted to Wedding Planner. During this era, my true love and passion for weddings were manifested. From selecting a venue, conducting consultations, discussing the details of a couple's big day, wedding rehearsals, setting up, and ensuring that the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception is what the Bride & Groom envisioned. Seeing the radiant smile on the Bride's face, receiving the heartfelt "thank you" and positive feedbacks were what allowed me to feel elated, overwhelmed, and happy to be a part of their memorable day.

After gaining five (5) years of professional training and experience. My passion, organizational skills, creativity, attention to detail, and love for people, has led me to create my "Brand Me": Magique Weddings & Events, founded by yours truly, Doniecia Thomas-Senior.

Magique Weddings & Events is a full Events Planning company that specializes in Jamaican Destination Events. We aim to make every event an impeccable one with priceless memories, a simple click on the wand, and everything becomes magical. We are located in the Ocho-Rios region in Jamaica, approximately an hour away from Montego Bay and Kingston. As a result, we can effectively coordinate events and weddings from simple to specular in our immediate space or island-wide.
